Director of the All-Ukrainian project, PLEDDG, visited Kolomyya

On the 19th of March, 2016, the director of the project "Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance" (PLEDDG), Olexander Kucherenko, met with government officials, the public, deputies of Kolomyya, and members of the advisory committee for the project in Kolomyya to provide more details and talk about the prospects for implementation of the project in the region.

 The international technical assistance project, PLEDDG, aims at strengthening the municipal sector in Ukraine, the implementation of effective democratic governance and accelerate economic development by increasing the ability of Ukrainian cities to democratize governance and local economic development; creating a favorable environment for small and medium enterprises and support for decentralization and integrated development planning at local, regional and national levels. The PLEDDG project is to be implemented from April 2015 to December 2020 by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) with financial support from the Canadian Government.
